Wax Lyrical

Wax Lyrical is a brand-new music literature festival launching across eleven venues in London this summer from 1 - 7 June.

The festival promises to showcase both British and International literary and musical talent and will celebrate the cross-over between literature and music. From biography and memoir through to musical history, film and even neuroscience, Wax Lyrical will hold a string of innovative and thought-provoking Q&As, talks, discussion panels and live performances that span across various genres and art forms.

Mike Peters Presents The Alarm-Stream (Hurricane of Change)  
Mike Peters has been the front-man of The Alarm for nearly 40 years, constantly touring and performing, Peters brings his own show to Canada Water Theatre for an intimate gig.

Music For The Mind: Dr Julia Jones Panel
Julia has spent the past 25 years studying and applying music neuroscience, showing how music can transform lives and businesses across many different sectors as visualised in the chart below. Her panel for Wax Lyrical will, amongst other topics, discuss music and mental health and will be an interesting and thought-provoking evening.
