Acting for Playable Theatre

Artists in residence Katurah Morrish, creator of The Learning Lottery joins Canada Water Theatre for a practical acting workshop.

For the performer, interactive theatre presents unique challenges. The interactive theatre performer brings together the skills of the actor, the improviser, the clown and the storyteller in order to keep the audience - or the player - immersed in the world of the show. Join critically-acclaimed Playable Theatre makers Upstart Theatre and writer-performer Katurah Morrish for this fun, fast-paced practical acting workshop exploring performance techniques for Playable Theatre. We'll explore the techniques we use to rehearse our hit interactive shows, and give you the opportunity to try out our new theatre-game, The Learning Lottery.
